David Gelb of 'A Faster Horse' chooses 'The Fog of War'. The idea that Robert McNamara, a man accused by many for escalating the Vietnam War and considered to be a total ego-maniacal ideologue can look at his life with hindsight and completely reverse himself is stunning to me. His message for peace in the film is stirring. The music, the photography, the editing, and McNamara's sincerity form a whole far greater than the sum of their parts. That film has an enormous influence on me. To me it is a perfect film.
